FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Approximately 12" / 30.5 cm long x 9" / 23 cm around body
NEEDLES and NOTIONS
1 set each double-pointed needles, size 4 / 3.5 mm and 6 / 4 mm or size to obtain gauge
Note: The smaller needles are used for elephant, and the larger for sweater.
Fiber fill stuffing
Black yarn for eyes

GAUGE
24 sts and 32 rounds = 4" / 10 cm on smaller needles (measured unstretched)
22 sts and 32 rounds = 4" / 10 cm on larger needles
Pattern Corrections:
Harper: Ears: Inc Rnd: * K1, M1R, knit to 1 st before marker, M1L, k1, sm, rep from * once more—4 sts inc’d. Rep Inc Rnd every 2nd round 4 times more—40 sts
