Learn to steek & finish a zippered bag

“Cumberland” Bag

This bag is the perfect introduction to the incredibly useful skill of steeking.  That’s right…we are going to cut our knitting!!!  The bag is knit in the round with stranded colorwork, cut up the sides, seamed together, lined, and zippered.  When you are done you will have a great accessory to use in lots of different ways.  The bag can be made in many different sizes depending on the weight of your yarn and the number of cast on stitches.  It is yours to customize!
