The Sitwell Sweater is a timeless knit tee that’s perfect for warm weather layering. With its relaxed boxy shape and classic set-in sleeves, this design creates a comfortable, easy-to-wear top that will quickly become a staple in your handmade wardrobe.

Knit flat in pieces from the bottom up, the Sitwell Sweater is a great introduction to traditional sweater construction. A seed stitch stripe detail adds subtle texture and visual interest, keeping the knitting engaging while giving the finished sweater a polished look.

In this class, we’ll guide you through each step of the process—from shaping and seaming to assembling your finished garment—so you can confidently create a beautifully finished sweater.

By the end of the class, you’ll have a versatile summer tee and the skills to tackle more garments knit in pieces.
