Mirasol Rit'i

Light, soft, and a little bit different, Mirasol Rit’i is one of those yarns you really need to feel.

Named for the Quechuan word for “snow,” Rit’i blends alpaca and fine wool for warmth and softness with cotton for breathability. The result is a wonderfully lightweight yarn with a soft halo and plenty of warmth without creating a heavy fabric.

With a generous 328 yards in each 100g skein, Rit’i is a great choice for sweaters and cardigans, shawls, scarves, and cozy accessories. The slightly fuzzy texture adds interest even to simple stitches, while still allowing more detailed patterns to shine.

Like all Mirasol yarns, there’s also a story behind the skein. A portion of Mirasol sales helps support the Mirasol School in Peru, which provides education for children from local Andean communities.
