Fourth Annual Finnegan's Run Sweater Retreat 2025

Join us for a weekend of laughter, camaraderie, knitting and fun at Finnegan’s Run, located in historic Fredericksburg, VA.

We are switching things up this year with the following changes:

You can work on whatever project you want, be it a sweater, shawl or something else.
Crochet is also welcome.

We do still request that you purchase the yarn for your project from us.

Day 1: Mastering Gauge & Sizing

• Morning Session: Fine-tune your gauge and sizing techniques. Learn how to measure accurately, adjust patterns, and achieve the perfect fit — essential skills for every knitter.

• Afternoon Presentation: Discover the luxury of Amano Yarns, celebrated for their exquisite Peruvian fibers and rich, natural color palettes.

Day 2: Exploring British Wool & Beyond

• Morning Session: Get to know the distinct qualities of British wool. Learn about different breeds, fiber characteristics, and how to choose the right wool for various projects.

• Afternoon Focus: Dive into the world of West Yorkshire Spinners, known for their sustainable, high-quality yarns, and explore their latest collections.

• Trolley ride an dinner at La Petite Auberge
