Flock Vest Class
Add a fun and versatile layer to your handmade wardrobe with Andrea Mowry’s Flock Vest! Worked seamlessly from the top down, this classic V-neck vest is a great project for building your garment-knitting skills while playing with color and stripes.
Throughout the class, we’ll work through the construction of the vest from the back neck through shaping the body, then finish it off by picking up stitches for the armhole ribbing and button band. Choose between the cropped or full-length version and select three colors to make your Flock Vest your own.
Along the way, you’ll gain experience with garment construction, increasing and decreasing, one-row stripes, picking up stitches, buttonholes, and finishing techniques for a polished result.
A great next step for knitters ready to tackle a wearable project—and one you’ll actually want to wear!
